by Tony Clark A magician brings out a large spike and asks someone to blow on the point which causes it to light up. He explains that the light has a magical quality that enables the Spike to penetrate a balloon without breaking it. He picks up a balloon and magically pushes the Lighted 1/4" thick Spike right thru it! Now he "blows" out the light and pulls the Spike back out. This time when he touches the balloon with the point, it pops. Proving that the "magic" was indeed in the light. This is a perfect effect to use with your D'lite gimmick! DVD this is not just a trick, but a complete little magic act – an act that, without exaggeration, puts all the other tricks of its type in the shade. The magician allows the audience to examine 3 large metal rings, a smaller ring, a white rope and a red piece of cord. He then strings one of the larger rings on the rope, doubles it up, puts the smaller ring on it, then puts the second ring on the rope as well. Someone from the audience can then tie the rope ends firmly together. The magician then takes one of the larger rings in each hand so that the rope is stretched doubled between his hands. The smaller ring is in the middle. Under normal human standards, it would be impossible to release them without untying the cord. The magician now lets someone from the audience string the red cord through the smaller ring and then holds the cord. Suddenly there is a jerk, and the person is holding the cord with the ring hanging from it. The small ring has visibly passed through the rope! Now the magician unties the knot and takes one of the rings from the rope. He then strings BOTH ends through the ring and lets it fall ON the ring hanging below. He takes the third large ring and strings it on the doubled rope the same way. The two rings cannot fall from the rope because a ring is already on the rope, blocking from the bottom. Nevertheless, the magician jerks his hand just once, and a ring falls from the rope, visibly passing through the blocking ring! Another jerk, and the second ring falls of as well. This effect is so effective, so absolutely "magical", that it really cannot be described in words. The ring passing over the other is completely visible! The performer again takes the two rings and strings them on the white rope once again. Another jerk, and BOTH rings pass through the blocking ring together. Now the magician takes just one ring and strings it on the rope. He covers it with his hand, and when he takes his hand away the ring is gone! He can immediately show that both hands are completely empty. He then puts his hand into his jacket pocket and pulls out the missing ring. All of the rings, the rope, and the cord can then be inspected once again! Running Time Approximately 32min Set - Three solid black rings made form steel and a small silver ring penetrate themselves and a rope several times while in full view! You start by showing nine small solid brass engraved lettered tiles that when assembled make the word STARTLING. You then offer to show something STARTLING with a deck of cards. A card is chosen by spectator and placed face down on the table in front of them. Attention is then drawn to the brass tiles and the word STARTLING. One by one a single letter is removed, and each time another word is formed. This continues until just the letter 'I' remains. The discarded letters are then rearranged and amazingly they spell the name of the chosen card. Comes complete with nicely made props & carry pouch and is 100% self working. |

Exorcism is the act of driving out, or warding off, demons, or evil spirits, from persons, places, or things, which are believed to be possessed or infested by them, or are liable to become victims or instruments of their malice. Original Idea by John Maronge EXORCISM is an effect that will leave your audience speechless. Get on your party hat to start this routine by telling your audience that you misplaced the deck of cards that you had been performing with earlier. Thank goodness you stopped by a friend's house on the way or else you wouldn't be able to perform a cool card trick that you had just learned. As the story goes, your friend is into some pretty strange stuff, and asked you to hold on to this box of cards for him. You promised that you would take it home and put it in a safe place. He was uttering something to you about a demon trapped inside and this house, blah, blah... as you interrupted him telling him you were going to be late for your event. You use the deck (any normal deck), even though you have a feeling that you shouldn't (especially since he decided to include a bottle of holy water.) The Spectator chooses a card. What are the chances of them selecting the one card in the deck that the supposed demon had been trapped in? The Magician tries to find the card but can't no matter how hard he tries. The Magician comes to the conclusion that the Deck of Cards must be possessed by a demon. So, just to be on the safe side, you take the holy water and flings it at the Deck of cards. This is where things start going into a stranger direction. They notice something happening, not to the cards but on the wall behind the cards it has now started bleeding. The Magician determines that it is not the Deck that's possessed but the room itself. The Magician quickly start flinging the holy water against the wall. Everywhere the holy water hits the wall, it turns to blood and starts dripping down! Once that sets in, the name of the card appears written in blood on the wall. With Eduardo Kozuch's "Quick Addition," you will be able to perform just like a lightning calculator. Removing three lists of numbers (from 100 to 1000) from your wallet and three envelopes, you invite three spectators to each select a number card and an envelope. Because each envelope has two windows cut into it, each spectator selects two numbers on his chosen card, at random. Once the numbers are selected, the magician is instantly able to reveal the total of the six numbers that have been selected! The numbers are different on all of the cards, and this works nothing like the old "Age Cards." It's a baffling mathematical masterpiece, and easy to do! |
